Fearless

Fear is a disease.
It makes us sick.
The cure for it is within.
Let go your fear.
No fear, is to live.
In fear, is to die.
Embrace each day without fear,
And life will embrace you.
Give fear something to be afraid of...
You.

Silence

The sound of silence rings through my head,
Like a broken record of what I saw.

The irony plays back like a sad metaphor,
For what is only happening in my head.

The paper says to take it easy,
A partner on the horizon calls.

But all I hear is the sound of silence,
Baiting and forlorn.

I am cool, but nervous more,
My solar plexus is unsure.

Contemplation looms over the things needed to be done,
But there is nothing but the sound of...

Chimes

The chimes sing outside my window,
Like magic they breeze the day with song.

In the solace of silence I sweetly say nothing.
Thoughts race as my heart paces.

With each breath I take,
The colors taste like sweet vanilla and sunshine.

Satisfaction in a day well done,
Like after a bath the warmth lingers.

And this is the “this” I have been seeking,
Peace and love to all who are too.

Worlds

What if all the world could be found,
In the palm of your hand,
Or in between your toes,
On the beach, in the sand?

Rambling Toast

Technology on the fritz.
Ports limited with bliss.
Cat sings, wanting, and loving.
I'm here. I'm here.
Purrrrrrrrr.
Warm lap.
Soft nap.
Looking for lost lessons leeringly.
Like losing lists licitly leading.
Lois Lane not on tonight.
Lana Lang makes my stomach tight.
Hate her.
Loath her.
Turn off tube
Testing tunes.
Tamely teaming,
Tempting teaing.
Totally thought of you.
Tea.
Yes, tea for two.

Ion

My thoughts are under Reconsideration.
My sanity requires Reconciliation.
My quintessences needs Contemplation.
You need to get an Occupation.
Watch out for the Inflation.
Of angry mobs in Reprobation.
Defy your own Animation.
Disincline your Concentration.
Sing in silence with Jubilation.
Justify your Obligation.
Creativity comes with Perspiration.
And is a product of Inspiration.

ah-chooooooooo!

Bless my wittle nose,
It knows not what it knows.
Sneeze once if you care,
Two if you dare,
But heaven beware,
There is something up there.
Making me sneezey,
And it is not very easy,
For me to be sneezey,
Without sounding sleazey.
It's such a phantasm,
When my nose starts to spasm,
It sounds like an ...
The embarrassment is hard to fathom.
Give me a tissue,
For my strange little issue,
It's not that I miss you,
But my body needs a reissue.
Of a nose that blows like any other,
But my nose is a gift from my mother,
I can't really get another,
Just give me a pillow to smother.
So without further ado,
I close out this thought for you,
Thank god for the tissue,
Because... ha, ha, ha, ah! Ha, ha, ah, ah, ha,
Ha, ha, ha, ah-chooooooooo!

Pink Ladies

The Pink Ladies in the night,
Party till the morning light.
Kiss and tells,
Ringing bells.
Bunnies hopping in the dark,
Trampolines and secrets start.
Everyone plays their part,
Singing what they know by heart.
P.J.'s, pillows and movie light,
Oh, oh, what a crazy night!

Saturdays

Cleaned.
Watched.
Laughed.
Bathed.
Dreamed.
Hoped.
Prayed.
Let go.
Relaxed.
Reflected.
Saturdays.

Random Acts of Poetry

I think I am going to use this blog to post poetry. Random acts of poetry. It will no longer be friends only posts.

So here we go...

Haiku For Grits
Today I had grits
Hot and burning on my tongue
Lunch in my belly
